> Why did you make the blog in the first place?

[A]: I tend to obsess over documentation—lists, journaling, categorizing information, and organizing thoughts. I’ve tried blogs, websites, and social media before, but I always went overboard and was never satisfied. I was determined to build something I could truly sink my teeth into, work on, and refine. This is a catch-all for ME. My frozen terminal among the icy tundra of the modern web.

> Why did you choose Bearblog?

[A]: [ Bear was so inviting, so welcoming. Simple yet pretty much already "done" for me. I didn't need to think too hard to start. Isolated yet there is a small community here. It has everything I need and nothing I don't. And clearly I found ways to customize the living hell out of it. ]

> Have you blogged on other platforms before?

[A]: Oh GOD, YEAH. As a child I used Bloggr, wix, WordPress, Wattpad. I've tried obscure sites, I've left hundreds of signs on Survival Craft worlds... Give me a text bom and I'll give you my life story. Coming up on Bear I was on NeoCities, CowSites, and carrd. Hell, I had paragraphs and paragraphs on a StrawPage. I've used Tumblr and Instagram and other social media. I tried really hard to fit somewhere, y'know? Make something mine. A place to dump everything. And yeah I kinda wish I had stuck with one thing for the past 13 years. But I'm pretty confident now I've found my home.

> Do you write your posts directly in the editor or in another software?

[A]: usually in the editor but since my posts have walls of HTML I'm beginning to write them elsewhere. Like. Somewhere with autosave.

> When do you feel most inspired to write?

[A]: a very smart man once convinced me to create without being inspired. It was amazing advice. I try. Then again, It depends. Inspiration comes in all forms and even outside of that my instinct is so write things down. I am inspired by my rage, my depression and isolation... My pain, mental and physical. Thoughts and moments and sometimes I just want to talk to that man again. I suppose he was my muse.

> Do you publish immediately after writing or do you let it simmer a bit as a draft?

[A]: almost always publish immediately.

> Your favorite post on your blog?

[A]: so far it's the one called Bones In The Snow and you should read it.

> Any future plans for your blog? Maybe a redesign, changing the tag system, etc.?

[A]: I think I'm happy with the details of my blog so far. It's... A lot. So for now I'll just be using it, posting and having fun, maybe I'll change the navigation in a bit?
